Birmingham have opted not to offer Radhi Jaidi a new contract meaning the veteran defender will leave the club this summer.

The 33-year-old Tunisia international joined Blues from Bolton back in 2006 and has enjoyed two promotions and endured relegation during his three eventful years at St Andrew's.

Jaidi, who has drifted in and out of Birmingham's XI during his stay in the West Midlands, made 30 league appearances this season as the club won promotion to the Premier League.

Manager Alex McLeish told the club's official website: "Radhi is a cracking guy who has been an excellent servant to Birmingham City.

"He's a hard working and dedicated professional and we all wish him well for the future."

Jaidi made a total of 93 appearances for Blues and scored six goals.
