Youtube can be a weird and wonderful place for FIFA 17, and there is truly something for everybody on there.

We've brought you plenty of beauties from the FIFA 17 community over the past year, including speed tests, the tallest XI versus the shortest and plenty of hacks to help you be the best FIFA player you can be!

Since everybody loves a quirky FIFA theory, YouTuber Rich Leigh plucked out one he hadn't seen before: What happens if you have an XI full of the best goalkeepers in the world?

It's not as ridiculous as you might think at first glance. After all, goalkeepers are certainly better 'footballers' today than they ever have been before.

Not only that, but 'keepers tend to be big, physical units, so surely the set plays would be something special, right?

Well, not quite. Leigh used his Oxford City side in Career Mode to put his theory to the test and life in the Premier League proved to be tough.

Jack Butland managed to secure the actual goalkeeping spot in the side and he was protected by a back four of Samir Handanović, Gianluigi Buffon, Petr Cech and Jan Oblak, four men north of the six-foot mark.

Things started to get a bit dicey in the midfield. Joe Hart and Hugo Lloris - not the fastest duo ever - got chalk on their boots out wide while Bernd Leno and Thibaut Courtois were the chief creators in the middle.

Up front, Leigh had an imposing strike partnership of Manuel Neuer and David de Gea – two keepers known for their footballing skills with the height to cause problems.

Despite being a team of goalkeepers, they conceded four in their first match against Manchester United – and, unsurprisingly, failed to score themselves.

A few games later, Oxford were cut adrift at the bottom of the table with a goal difference of -9. Despite managing to beat Sevilla 2-1 in Europe - with Buffon scoring a penalty - after racking up more losses domestically, Leigh is given his marching orders.

We would say the lesson here is to not buy a team full of goalkeepers, but if you need to be told that lesson, there might be a bigger problem! Still, a fun endeavour. Who knows, with a couple of playmakers it might have fared better!
