You’d have thought Barcelona would learn a lesson from their disastrous first leg against Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League last-16 clash.A 4-0 defeat at the Parc des Princes left them needing to produce a miraculous comeback in the second leg - something they did in style by dramatically winning 6-1 at the Camp Nou.And they’re going to need to come up with a similarly great escape after they lost 3-0 to Juventus in the first-leg of their quarter-final clash. They couldn’t do it again, could they?Well, Barcelona skipper, Andres Iniesta, believes the players feel “less pessimistic” after their latest heavy loss and are still hopeful of making the last-four of the competition.

Iniesta on the defeat

"The feeling isn't as pessimistic as it was in Paris, but we have a very uphill second leg ahead of us," Iniesta told reporters after the game.

"We have done things badly, above all in the first half. The Champions League punished us with two goals, and in the second half we have seen something else.

"We deserved to score one.

"The corner [mistake] can happen, Juventus are a great team, but when you don't do things well they can penalise you for it.

"If we do what we have done [in the past], we will get back into the tie, but it is not impossible."

Not everyone agrees

But not everyone agrees with Iniesta.

That includes former Manchester United player Roy Keane.

Keane, who now appears as a pundit on ITV, was asked if Luis Enrique’s side could go through but gave a strong opinion on the tie.

“This game is over,” he predicted.

And when Mark Pougatch questioned him on his comment and asked if there was a chance of a repeat of the PSG heroics, Keane replied: “The tie is over. No chance.”

It’s a thought that is shared amongst football fans around the world but saying it live on TV is another matter altogether.

If Barcelona do the unthinkable once again, this clip will be replayed over and over again to make Keane look rather silly.

But with Max Allegri having Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon being tasked to defend a three-goal lead, it’s going to be very difficult for Barca to progress to the next round of the competition.
