There is no doubt that Anthony Joshua is the crown jewel of Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Sports stable.

Hearn has assembled a vast array of talent that constitutes four world champions. Names such as Kell Brook, Tony Bellew, James DeGale and Nathan Cleverly headline the stable, but there is a batch of exciting youngsters, too.

Conor Benn and Kai Yafai are the standout names, and while light-heavyweight Anthony Yarde is making waves with Frank Warren, Hearn has acquired former Olympian cruiserweight Lawrence Okolie.

The 24-year-old has his second professional fight last night on the undercard of Ricky Burns and Julius Indongo, and he achieved the same result as his first outing - a first round stoppage.

The referee had to intervene after Okolie caught his opponent, Lukasz Rusiewicz, plush with a serious right-hand with 2:36 on the clock.

At least it went further than the 20 seconds it took him to knockout Geoffrey Cave last month.

Okolie is an intimidating presence at cruiserweight and at 6'5", it's easy to imagine him taking a similar route to David Haye and Tony Bellew and transitioning to the heavyweight division eventually.

But, before he can do that, he needs to establish himself in the cruiserweight division and he has made a great start with these impressive KOs. Watch the video below to see the right-hand that finishes his Polish foe.

After signing with Hearn, Okolie wasn't shy in laying out his intentions to Sky Sports.

"I want to be the best cruiserweight that Britain has seen," said Okolie. "David Haye has done great things, so has Johnny Nelson and many others, but I want to cement my legacy, have my name go down in history and maybe follow Haye by winning the heavyweight crown too.

"I want to get some excitement going in the division, not just from the fans but also have other cruiserweights training hard and wanting to fight me, because I want to be in great and exciting fights. I want to have six to eight fights in 2017 and I'll be looking to get six to eight knockouts - I mean business."

As AJ has seen, a knockout artist can gain momentum in the British ranks quickly and there is no reason why Okolie cannot do the same.
