Golden State Warriors begin their campaign to appear in their third NBA Finals in just as many seasons and win their second championship in the same time period when they play against the Portland Trail Blazers later on today.Because of how successful the Warriors have been in recent years in the NBA, teams need to get an advantage over the team which contains names like Steph Curry and Kevin Durant as quickly as possible.Reports have indicated that the Trail Blazers are looking to do exactly that.As you can see in the tweet further down in this article by USA Today's Sam Amick, Portland has decided to try and get a psychological advantage over the first seed Western Conference side by doing something which not many teams have done this season. The Trail Blazers decided that they would do their pre-game warm up on the side of the court which the Warriors usually do their warm-up activities.Amick said in his tweet: "Portland does the pregame switch-aroo on Warriors, taking the side of floor they typically use for warmups. Only a handful of teams do it."

This is a smart move to try and get in the minds of Golden State, as there could be a couple of players that are irritated by the fact Portland warming up on their usual side of the court is messing up their pre-game routine that has allowed them to be successful in the NBA.

Or, it could mean nothing at all to them, and they'll play the same way they have done the last four times these two teams have met and win the game with ease.

We'll have to wait until later on tonight when the result comes in to see if it had any effect on the outcome and if they'll keep on doing it throughout the rest of the first round of the playoffs and beyond.
