It's fair to say we've all got a few guilty pleasures stocked up in our music collections, songs you'd never let your friends or partners know you enjoy but secretly love whenever they come on the radio. For the most part, you become adept at keeping them under wraps for fear of ridicule upon anyone hearing about it, but sadly for Kolo Toure, he let one of his slip this week thanks to a classic faux pas at a press conference. The veteran defender is coming off the back of a title winning campaign up in Scotland with Celtic, and with the SPL trophy in the bag there's a little more room for some fun and jokes at the club's press conferences. The 36-year-old has made just a handful of appearances this term and has become more known for the chants that involve him than his heroics on the pitch, so when a reporter asked him what his favourite song was he gave an unexpected answer. The question must have been lost in translation somewhere, as the Ivorian began to recount his love of Whitney Houston, and was on the verge of spilling the beans over which track of hers he particularly liked before being stopped and told that the reporter meant which of the many chants spawned over his name he liked the best. You can feel the embarrassment radiate from the screen as he tells those in attendance not to laugh before going on to explain which of the chants he likes the best. The 'Yaya-Kolo' chant took on a life of its own when it first appeared, with everyone from regular fans to the actual Liverpool team doing their own renditions of it for the cameras, and it seems that this one got a laugh out of the man himself. After realising his embarrassing error, he admitted that this one, which originated during his time with Manchester City was the one he liked the most.

Toure has found himself become something of a pop culture icon during his time in the UK. Before the chants he inspired a host of memes which were widely shared over social media.

So while his playing days are winding down to a close, it's unlikely that he'll be forgotten by football fans on these shores for a long time to come.

His one-year deal at Celtic Park will expire in the coming months, leaving him open to other offers, so with any luck, his saga in British football will continue.

And here he is giving us a little rendition of the famous dance...
