One of the highlights of the first episode of Monday Night RAW following WrestleMania this year was the debut of the Revival.

The former NXT Tag Team Champions made a huge statement on the main roster when they debuted and confronted the New Day.

A memorable debut

The Revival earned the reputation on NXT for being a very physical team and they showed that on their first night on RAW.

However their main roster careers have suffered a huge setback as Dash Wilder is now preparing for time away from the ring.

Wilder has suffered a broken jaw during a recent in ring performance and is now expected to be out of action until early July.

WWE confirmed the injury on their website and despite the eight week injury break, Wilder and his partner Scott Dawson are trying to remain positive.

Dawson spoke about the injury to his partner and claimed that it was nothing more than a speed bump.

The Revival had been expected to take on the New Day at Payback in two weeks time following their initial encounter the night after WrestleMania.

The New Day however were moved to Smackdown Live during last week's Superstar shake up meaning that the two teams are now unlikely to continue on their collision course.

With the return of the Hardy Boyz at WrestleMania, the RAW tag team division was given a huge shot of life during WrestleMania weekend.

However with the Revival now out of action until July, they will surely have to be considered as potential challengers for the RAW tag team titles at SummerSlam in August.

A great night shaping up

There is two weeks until Payback and RAW is seemingly putting together a great event despite not having their Universal Champion on TV right now.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar hasn't been seen since winning the title at WrestleMania and he is not expected to return until after Payback.

Despite the event seemingly lacking an appearance by RAW's biggest title, the show should still give fans what they want with matches such as Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe expected to headline the event.

With the WWE Championship also set to be defended at the event courtesy of Smackdown's champion Randy Orton, Payback should be a strong follow up to WrestleMania.
