Sunday’s El Clasico is pivotal in this season’s La Liga title race.

Real Madrid are three points clear with a game in hand of Barcelona and could effectively win the league with a victory at the Bernabeu.

But a Barca win would put them level on points with their El Clasico rivals with all the momentum to go on to win the title - especially now they no longer have European football to think about.

It’s a match that every football fan in the world wants to watch with plenty of world-class talent on show.

Real Madrid and Barcelona stars can become heroes with a good performance or a goal in this fixture with it meaning so much to the club and its fans.

And one player that has certainly performed in this fixture down the years is Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar has bagged 16 goals in 25 matches against Barca whilst playing for Real Madrid, a minutes per goal ratio of one in every 129 minutes. Not bad.

But it’s not just in terms of goals that Ronaldo has destroyed Barca.

That’s because a video has emerged of him humiliating Barcelona players with his incredible pace and skill throughout his career.

The YouTube video shows CR7 making some Barca players look rather silly - most notably Gerard Pique.

And there’s a brilliant moment when Ronaldo chips the ball over Lionel Messi’s leg to get away from the Argentine and Pique. That occurs at around 3:05 in the video.

Check it out:

Madrid will be hoping Ronaldo can pick up from his incredible Champions League performances in the past week.

Ronaldo scored four goals in the two ties against Bayern Munich to send Los Blancos through to the last four of the Champions League - including a hat-trick in the second-leg at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.

That 6-3 aggregate win has set up a semi-final clash against Atletico Madrid with Zinedine Zidane’s side looking to become the first side to defend their trophy since the re-formatting of the Champions League.

First, though, Ronaldo and co. will be setting their sights on ending the La Liga title race with victory over Barcelona on Sunday.
