Chelsea and Tottenham put on one of the best FA Cup semi-finals in recent memory when they waged war at Wembley on Saturday. It was a back and forth affair where Spurs came from behind on two occasions but, unfortunately, could not prevent Chelsea going on to win the game 4-2.Willian got the ball rolling with a sumptuous free kick before Harry Kane equalised with a deft header. However, Willian doubled his tally with a penalty after Son Heung-min brought down Victor Moses just before half-time.Spurs bounced back with a sensational goal from Dele Alli that was created via a majestic ball from Christian Eriksen. However, the introduction of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa around the hour mark made a huge difference on the game and the former put Chelsea ahead after he was left all alone on the edge of the box from a corner. However, the goal of the day, undisputably, belongs to Nemanja Matic. The Serbian international came onto a Hazard pass around 30 yards out and proceeded to scream the ball into the top corner first time.It could not have been any more in the top corner and Spur 'keeper Hugo Lloris had no hope. Four Lloris' had no hope.

As you can imagine, Twitter blew up in disbelief with Matic's ridiculous strike. He hadn't scored this season before that thunderbolt and it was certainly worth the wait.

For Spurs, their Wembley jinx continues and it shows no sign of relenting.

They are almost certainly going to call England's stadium their home next season while their new ground is being built and White Hart Lane is torn down, but they can't afford to keep up the record they currently possess.

Their Champions League dreams ended at Wembley, and so have their FA Cup hopes.
