Anthony Joshua has surprised his first boxing coach with a brand new BMW M6.The 27-year-old returned to his first boxing club Finchley ABC boxing club and met up with his first coach Sean Murphy. The four minute clip is the second part of a series of short films by the BBC about Joshua before his world title fight with Wladimir Klitschko. The 27-year-old narrated to the camera: “This morning, we’re off to meet Sean Murphy, a close friend the guy who started me off boxing to 2008.“We’re in Barnet, but the actual boxing club is called Finchley ABC. I know this place like the back of my hand.“Right now we’ve got a little bit of a surprise for Sean. So I’m just heading down to the boxing gym.“The Sean I know, he don’t show emotion, he’s a disciplined man he’s been boxing from young. So I think he’s built up a certain resilience in him.”The segment was filmed in February, and shows Joshua pulling up to the gym and then going inside, where he meets up with Murphy. We then get to hear about what Joshua was like when he was younger and how the 27-year-old did not take boxing too seriously. Well, at first at least! Then, AJ told his old coach that he had something for him in the car park outside and showed Murphy a personalised number plate with his name on and told the stunned coach that the car was his.And what a car it was! The brand new BMW M6 also included an engraved drinks cover with Murphy’s and Finchley ABC boxing club on it.Joshua then joked to Murphy that the car came with a contract that meant it could not be sold within six weeks. You can watch the moving video below.

Murphy then told Joshua that inside he was ‘jumping for joy’ and told him that becoming the heavyweight champion was enough.

AJ once again showing his class was then happy to pose for pictures with fight fans and even signed a young child’s boxing glove.

Joshua v Klitschko is scheduled for April 29 and is set to break the British record for an attendance at a boxing match with 90,000 cramming in to a sold-out Wembley.
