The chances are, we’ve seen the last of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a Manchester United shirt.

It’s been confirmed that the legendary Swede has ruptured knee ligaments and is set to be out for at least nine months.

With his current deal set to expire at the end of the season, the Mirror are reporting that the Red Devils will now withdraw their offer of an extra one-year contract.

It’s a very sad end to what has been a brilliant campaign for Ibrahimovic.

Signed on a free transfer by Jose Mourinho last summer, many doubted whether the ageing forward would be able to replicate what he’s done throughout his career in the Premier League.

But he has well and truly silenced his doubters with 28 goals in all competitions as he’s bailed United out on numerous occasions.

However, it will be 28 and out for Zlatan after he sustained his potentially career-ending injury against Anderlecht on Thursday.

Ibrahimovic’s next career move is uncertain but United fans surely won’t have the pleasure of seeing him in red shirt ever again.

So, in tribute to the 35-year-old, we’ve decided to share a brilliant video showing his funniest moments during his short spell at the Theatre of Dreams.

Ibrahimovic has become renowned for some hilarious remarks and quotes in press conferences and he certainly hasn’t disappointed during his time in England.

This video shows plenty of them, as well some light-hearted moments on the pitch as well.

It’s what makes Zlatan so legendary. While he’s a fantastic footballer, he’s also a brilliant character off the pitch.

Mourinho will no doubt miss his goals but his attitude around the training ground and his influence on the other players will also be sorely missed.
