Life without Zlatan Ibrahimovic got off to a positive start for Manchester United against Burnley during Sunday's early kick-off.There were fears amongst fans that they would struggle, but within 21 minutes, the Red Devils found themselves ahead at Turf Moor.Anthony Martial led a blistering counter-attack and eventually applied the finish, after playing a one-two with Ander Herrera and outpacing Joey Barton.United's afternoon got even even better 18 minutes later when Wayne Rooney marked his return to the starting line-up with a goal to extend their lead.Martial was once again the provider, his run in behind Burnley's defence culminating in a save from Tom Heaton that fell to Rooney, who squeezed home from a tight angle. Two nil at half-time meant United were cruising. But while Martial and Rooney stole the limelight for their goals, United fans believe Paul Pogba deserved a lot more credit for the role he played in the second. In the video below, Pogba collects the ball outside the 18-yard box and holds off challenges from Barton and Robbie Brady before playing an incisive pass to Martial. The Frenchman showed supreme composure and control to keep the ball and wait for right moment to play in Martial. Pogba is often criticised for not providing enough assists for United, but as fans rightly point out, it's what he does in the build-up to goals that's most important.
