Patrick Beverley (6/0/3) went just 2-for-13 shooting for the Rockets as well. Chris Paul (27/9/12) nearly delivered a triple-double and Jamal Crawford (25/1/2) delivered off the bench, going 9-for-13 shooting, but the team couldn’t get key late stops, as Utah outscored Los Angeles 28-18 in the fourth quarter. Gordon Hayward (3/2/0) left the game after just nine minutes due to food poisoning symptoms and Rudy Gobert (15/13/1) was limited to 24 minutes in his first game back from injury, but Joe Johnson (28/5/5) went 12-for-17 shooting off the bench to lead the home team to victory.
