We’re not sure which odds were shorter prior to Sunday’s Clasico: Sergio Ramos scoring a late winning goal or the same player receiving a red card.It was almost certain that one or the other would happen - and so it proved.Ramos was shown a straight red card in the 77th minute for his tackle on Lionel Messi, and he didn’t leave the Santiago Bernabeu pitch quietly. The 31-year-old made a gesture towards his old foe, and Spain international teammate, Gerard Pique as he walked off.It later transpired that Ramos had said to Pique: “Talk now. Talk now.”This was Ramos’s way of telling Pique that, following the red card, he could no longer complain about referees favouring Real Madrid via the press and on social media.

Pique responds to Ramos's gesture

Pique, per Goal, was asked about Ramos’s gesture after the match - and here’s what he had to say about it.

"I saw Ramos pointing at me after the red card, but he will regret what happened when he sees the incident again,” the Barcelona defender was quoted as saying by AS. “It was a very clear red card."

Pique added: ”I am convinced that he will realise it was a clear red card once he gets home and sees it again.

"He went into the tackle with both feet forward when Messi got away. It was all very clear, he goes in there with his studs up and does not get the ball. There is no discussion about it.

"What happened is that the people here are used to that referees allow a lot of things and then when that does not happen…”

Ramos: I won't get involved in Pique's game

However, it’ll come as no surprise to hear that Ramos totally disagrees with Pique’s opinion.

“I have seen the foul again. In no moment did I want to hurt the player. He hurdled the challenge and there was no contact,” the 31-year-old was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

“The sending off affected the game. Now I do not want to get involved in Pique's game.”

Pique dropped two tweets after Barcelona's win
