Crewe have given last season's leading scorer Tom Pope permission to speak to Rotherham.

The 23-year-old striker will meet with Millers manager Mark Robins to discuss a possible move to the South Yorkshire outfit.

Pope scored nine goals in 33 appearances for the relegated Railwaymen last season.
