Alberto Del Rio’s time with the WWE has come to an end, which is a loss for fans of his kinetic brand of wrestling that only consume the sport through the company’s programming. He now wrestles with Impact Wrestling and still registers as a pretty big name throughout the company.

El Patron had a decent run as one of the most recognisable faces in the entire company before he left to headline over at Combate Americas. From that moment on, he has taken every chance possible to trash his former employer on social media and in interviews.

Still, as long as people ask him about his tenure with the WWE, he is rarely afraid to speak his mind about things that he would have liked to see done differently before his departure. This includes a couple weeks ago, when he went on a rant on Periscope about Triple H.

Del Rio’s comments didn’t stop there, he continued to tweak his former employer on Instagram while talking about traveling conditions and behind the scenes. These posts fall largely in line with that rant weeks ago.

He said: “After 1 hour of sleep, jet lag and nearly missing the flight.. I made it to @impactwrestling I couldn’t be happier. They treat everyone so well.. that’s what a real company does. They take care of everyone. Talent, behind the scenes etc that help their company grow bigger.

“You have to be there tonight amigos, #impactwrestling bringing back this bad boy! They have it all here in this company, giving everyone a chance to shine, not just sitting in catering!”

Those are strong words, but his comments concerning the WWE usually tend to be. It seems like he truly won’t be happy until he receives some sort of apology from company management, and that is unlikely to happen considering Vince McMahon’s ideas about the split.

Both sides will continue to deliver their product and each seems to be doing well. Although, the WWE still hasn’t filled the hole left by Del Rio’s absence and will have to figure out how to address that soon.

Unless something unforeseen happens, there is little to no chance that he will be making some sort of grand return to the company anytime soon. Also, with established stars like Rey Mysterio locked up for the foreseeable future, there is no easy fix in sight for the promotion.
