Sunday night will see the first PPV since WrestleMania as the stars of RAW - and two from Smackdown will host Payback.

The event is shaping up to be a good one despite the fact that RAW's main title - the Universal Championship hasn't been seen since WrestleMania.

A great kickoff

While Brock Lesnar may be holding the title hostage right now, several other feuds will carry the load on Sunday.

With the WWE Championship, United States Championship and RAW Tag team Championships all set to be defended, Payback should be an eventful night.

Monday's episode of RAW however confirmed all of the plans for the night and even announced two segments for the Kickoff show.

Revealing that the returning Finn Balor will be appearing on the kickoff is one way to ensure that the fans will be happy to watch.

Balor will be appearing as the guest on Miz TV while the A Lister also doesn't have any plans for the event.

Balor is expected to enter a feud with Bray Wyatt following Payback so it is possible that his appearance on Miz TV could start that rivalry.

Another segment announced for the Kickoff show on Sunday is a tag team match between Big Cass and Enzo and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

The match was announced off the back of the two teams clashing on RAW ahead of their scheduled six man tag match.

Cass and Enzo were supposed to be teaming with Seth Rollins to take on Gallows and Anderson and Samoa Joe.

Before the match however, Joe, Anderson and Gallows would attack the duo and ensure that the match began in chaotic fashion.

Amore would be unable to compete on RAW and was replaced by Finn Balor for the six man tag team match.

Enzo will be ready to go by Sunday however and the two teams will lock horns once again on the Payback kickoff show.

A night for payback

Sunday night will see many different scenarios unwind following weeks of build up.

Alexa Bliss will get her first chance to challenge for the RAW Women's Championship whereas Smackdown will gain a new superstar if Chris Jericho can defeat Kevin Owens for the US Championship.

The only RAW title not being defended on Sunday will be the Intercontinental Championship, but with a champion like Dean Ambrose, who knows what might happen.
