Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t one to hide his emotions. The Real Madrid superstar wears his heart on his sleeve and his immense frustration after Lionel Messi scored the winning goal in El Clasico on Sunday night was clear for all to see.Ronaldo couldn’t believe his team had failed to cling on to what would have been a precious point after James Rodriguez’s equaliser in the 85th minute.Considering Sergio Ramos had been sent off less than 10 minutes earlier, a 2-2 draw would have been an excellent result for Los Blancos.Messi, however, had other ideas. He sensed blood and sent a dagger through the Madrid players’ hearts at the death. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who scored an excellent equaliser in the first half, kept his composure to score the winning goal in the second and final minute of stoppage time. His subsequent celebration will probably go down as the most memorable of his career.

Huge blow for Real Madrid and Ronaldo

Ronaldo looked close to tears, and you can understand why he felt a mixture of immense disappointment and fury after he and his teammates allowed Barça back into the title race.

Zinedine Zidane’s side had a golden opportunity to move six points clear at the top of La Liga. Instead, they now find themselves level - albeit with a game in hand - with the Catalan giants heading into the home straight.

Remember, Ronaldo has only won one La Liga title since completing his record-breaking move to Real Madrid from Manchester United back in 2009.

Spurning this opportunity to win a second would be a devastating blow for the Portuguese icon.

What Ronaldo shouted after Messi's winning goal

And Spanish newspaper AS have now revealed what Ronaldo shouted at teammates following Messi’s winning goal.

The 32-year-old is understood to have screamed: “You should have fouled him!”

‘Him’, in case you’re wondering, isn’t Messi. Ronaldo was referring to Sergi Roberto, who ran from his own half in the move that led to Barcelona’s winning goal.

Was Ronaldo shouting at Marcelo?

AS add that Ronaldo appeared to be blaming Marcelo, who accepted the blame for the goal after the match.

"It was a mistake, it could happen to anyone but I take the blame for the goal," the Brazilan full-back was quoted as saying by Marca.
