Nobody enjoyed Sunday's final Clasico of the season less than Cristiano Ronaldo. Not only did he not have a good game by his own particular high standards, but he was rendered helpless as arch-rival Lionel Messi snatched all three points for Barcelona.Barca's last gasp victory not only gave them a 3-2 scoreline but opened up the La Liga title race, putting them on level points with Los Blancos with just a handful of games remaining.Luckily for Real, they still have a game hand over the Catalans, though they will have to see out the rest of the season without the influential Sergio Ramos, who got himself sent off during the encounter.Understandably, tensions were high in the home dressing room after the game. The defeat has invited even more pressure on their shoulders and now means that Real can afford no slips in their remaining games. But despite Gareth Bale misdiagnosing himself and coming off injured (again) during the first half and Sergio Ramos' red card, Ronaldo instead laid the blame for the defeat at the feet of two of his other teammates. With James Rodriguez having temporarily restoring parity just five minutes from full-time, Real's 10-men fell short of stopping the mesmerising Messi and were unable to stop him from grabbing a last-gasp winner. In the aftermath of the game, two well-documented videos have emerged showing Ronaldo screaming at his teammates to 'make a foul' in the build up to the goal before showing his reaction to it afterward. His anguish is clear, and according to Spanish publication Marca, he let fly at two of his teammates in particular when everyone got back to the dressing room. Both Marcelo and Luka Modric missed tackles on Sergio Roberto in the build up to the final goal, and it seems that Ronaldo has laid the blame squarely on their shoulders.

The pair are two of the most experienced players in the Madrid squad, but they can't have been happy with Ronaldo pinning the defeat on them alone.

However, after the game, Marcelo faced the cameras and gave an interview in which he fronted up to Ronaldo's claims and accepted full responsibility for the outcome.

"I take the blame for the last goal but it can happen to anyone," the Brazil international said.

Ronaldo had been calling for maximum pressure on Barcelona's match-winner, and in the days after it has been Real's defensive set up that has received the most criticism.
