Cristiano Ronaldo cut a very frustrated figure during Real Madrid's defeat to Barcelona on Sunday.

Not only did the Portuguese fail to score, but he was forced to watch on as Lionel Messi took centre stage with a dramatic 92nd-minute winner at the Bernabeu.

Cameras quickly panned on Ronaldo when Barcelona went 3-2 up and he looked absolutely furious, shouting and throwing his arms in the air.

In truth, you could hardly blame him for being angry. Real's defence should have done a lot better for Messi's goal, despite the fact they were down to 10 men.

Marcelo and Luka Modric were both guilty of missing tackles in the build-up and so, according to Marca, Ronaldo unleashed hell on them in the dressing room.

Credit where it's due, Marcelo admitted to being at fault for Messi's goal after the game, saying: "I take the blame for the last goal, but it can happen to anyone."

It would appear there is still a bit of tension in the Real camp, though, judging by some footage of their training session on Monday.

In the video below, Ronaldo produces a naughty piece of skill to fool Marcelo and goalkeeper Keylor Navas in a rondo.

But to his disbelief, Marcelo turns around and tells him he took two touches and must go in the middle. Cue a strop from Ronaldo.

He puts his arms in the air and shrugs, refusing to go in the middle. Only until Danilo offers to go in 40 seconds later does Ronaldo admit defeat, much to his frustration.

RONALDO'S SKILL BACKFIRES

Perhaps that was Marcelo getting his own back, who knows, but Ronaldo has a lot to thank the Brazilian for following his stunning performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week.

Marcelo not only assisted one of Ronaldo's goals, but he produced two vital blocks to prevent Bayern from scoring.

Indeed, had Ronaldo not scored a hat-trick to fire Real through to the semi-finals, Marcelo would have been given the man of the match award - he was that good.
