After watching Lionel Messi run riot at the Bernabeu on Sunday night, Osasuna players must have been fearing the worst.
Messi and co. will go into their clash against Osasuna on Wednesday high on confidence after they hauled themselves back into the title race with a 3-2 injury-time victory over Real Madrid.
And they will be desperate to maintain that momentum against lowly Osasuna.
But how do a team placed in 20th position stop Messi?
After all, the Argentine superstar has just scored his 500th Barcelona goal after his brace against Madrid to take his tally to 31 in the league this season.
Meanwhile, Osasuna have conceded 75 goals this campaign - the worst record in the league - and Messi must be licking his lips.
But he might not have a comfortable evening at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
That’s because Osasuna manager, Peter Vasiljevic, has revealed what his players are planning to do to him when they arrive in Catalonia - although we hope they’re only joking.
Osasuna's plan
"I've already said that we need a plan for Messi and the players told me [that we need to] carry handcuffs and a pistol,” he said.
"He disconnects, but later he plugs [himself] in for 10 minutes and does what he does."
Handcuffs and a pistol probably wouldn’t even be enough to stop Messi in this form, though.
After all, he produced an incredible performance in El Clasico just days after suffering a black eye in last week’s Champions League tie against Juventus, whilst he was elbowed by Marcelo in the face in the first half - causing his mouth to bleed.
Good luck, Osasuna. You’re going to need it.
