Another challenge laid down

While the schedule for WWE Champion Randy Orton is suddenly becoming quite full, his focus has to be on his House of Horrors match with Bray Wyatt at Payback.

Orton will defend his title against Wyatt on Sunday and if he is victorious, move onto Backlash where he will face Jinder Mahal.

But plans may already be in place for a potential title match at Money in the Bank in June, and it could feature the return of a long absent superstar.

During the Superstar shake-up, former United States Champion Rusev was traded to Smackdown, but still hasn't featured on the blue brand.

Tuesday night he finally addressed the WWE fans about why he hasn't appeared on Smackdown Live yet and what he plans for the future.

Rusev revealed that he doesn't like Smackdown or the men running it and that he will not be appearing on the brand unless he is given a WWE Championship match.

Rusev directly quoted the Money in the Bank event as the home of his title chance and even threatened that if he doesn't receive his title shot, he will pack his bags and go home.

The Bulgarian Brute confirmed his threat on Twitter moments after the segment aired on Smackdown.

Rusev Claimed that he should have been given a WWE Championship match by now in his career after two US Championship reigns and a year long unbeaten run.

There was no response from either Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan or Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon during the show to Rusev's demands.

The answer will likely come next week but the one thing that appears to be certain, Rusev will not be appearing on Smackdown Live anytime soon.

A missing title?

While the WWE Championship will be defended on the RAW exclusive PPV Payback on Sunday night, the title itself is missing.

During Tuesday's episode of Smackdown, #1 contender for the WWE title Jinder Mahal would actually steal the championship belt from Orton.

Mahal and the Singh Brothers would beat down the champion and leave the arena with his title belt.

Who knows what this will mean for the title match on Sunday if Orton is forced to show up to a title defense without his title belt.
