The Bernabeu was stunned into silence on Sunday evening after Lionel Messi’s injury-time winner in El Clasico.
The 3-2 victory hauled Barca back into the La Liga title race and piled the pressure onto Real Madrid.
As Messi produced his epic shirt-holding celebration and his teammates congratulated him on his 500th goal for the club, a small pocket of away fans at the top of the Santiago Bernabeu were going crazy.
Except they weren’t the only Barcelona fans inside the stadium.
That’s because you can clearly see plenty of Barca fans dotted amongst the home fans inside the 81,000 stadium, bravely celebrating Messi’s winning goal.
No matter how important that goal was, it takes some serious nerve to jump up and celebrate and Barcelona goal when surrounded by Madridistas. But clearly, some Barca supporters have a deathwish.
And their behaviour has actually got some Madrid fans into big trouble.
According to Sport, the club has investigated these mischievous Barcelona fans and have subsequently taken away 357 season tickets.
It’s believed that some Madrid fans sold their season tickets to rival fans and have now been severely punished by the club.
Serves them right, really. Who sells tickets to an El Clasico match to a fan of a rival club!?
Those Barcelona fans that paid over the odds for a ticket in the home end will be very glad they did, though.
They will always remember the time they went mental when Messi scored his 500th Barcelona goal to win the match, whilst surrounded by Madrid fans. Well, that if they were lucky enough to survive after their celebrations.
Whether Messi’s winner decides the title remains to be seen. Barcelona are now level on points with Madrid, but are top on the head-to-head record.
However, the title is still in Madrid’s hands as they have a game in hand.
But the momentum is very firmly with Barca now.
