Woodards to make Dons switch

Published Add your comment

Danny Woodards has agreed a move to MK Dons after turning down Crewe's offer of a new contract.

The 25-year-old right-back, who impressed in a holding midfield role for much of last season, has agreed a two-year deal with Roberto Di Matteo's side.

Woodards made it clear that he wished to leave Crewe following their relegation from League One.

He made 94 appearances for the club after arriving at Gresty Road from Exeter for a nominal fee in January 2007.
