UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has made it clear he's not happy that Georges St-Pierre, his next title challenger, wants to fight this fall instead of this summer.

With nothing to do, Bisping doesn't want to wait to make his return to the octagon, but GSP's training plan has him targeting a September or October bout, according to recent reports.

That's because St-Pierre, the former welterweight champion, has to bulk up a bit in order to face off against Bisping in the 185-pound division.

Because of his new diet, St-Pierre will be challenged to stay fit as he adds mass. Recently an unflattering photo of GSP surfaced, showing that the 35-year-old UFC star may be doing a little too much bulking up:

Of course Bisping, one of the most outspoken UFC fighters this side of Conor McGregor, had something to say about GSP's new look.

On his "Believe You Me" podcast (via MMAFighting.com), Bisping came up with quite the analogy to describe GSP's bulked-up body:

“I don’t know what’s going on, to be quite frank,” Bisping said. “But he looks like he’s been impregnated by an alien.”

However, that jab aside, Bisping isn't falling for the "Georges St-Pierre is out of shape" storyline. He quickly explained what he thinks is happening in the strange photo.

According to Bisping, he thinks GSP is simply having some fun and trying to draw an overreaction from MMA fans and media members based on one photo:

“He’s in his typical GSP little spandex tiny shorts, but they’re black, not white,” Bisping said. “He’s got his shin pads and his MMA gloves on. And a gigantic belly sticking. I know he said he’s getting bigger.

“His belly is sticking out and he looks a little weird, so I think he’s having a little fun. I think he’s pushing his belly out.”

So, it's safe to say Bisping won't be going lightly in his training now. He still respects his next opponent and isn't going to fall for any of the typical pre-fight shenanigans.

GSP, the three-time welterweight champion, has a career record of 25-2, while the 38-year-old Bisping is 30-7 in his 37 career bouts.

As the fall fight approaches, it's safe to say there will be more headlines from each fighter. Bisping has never been shy about sharing his opinions on his podcasts and GSP loves posting workout videos on his social media pages, so there will be plenty of back-and-forth between the two athletes in the months to come.
