Finn Balor's return hasn't exactly gotten off to a hot start after he suffered a concussion thanks to the forearm of Jinder Mahal.

The WWE isn't going to slow down on promoting one of their top talents and the first WWE Universal champion, though. Balor's kept The Demon King away from the screen for a bit, but the WWE may be hinting at a new "persona" than the one we've seen thus far.

They went all-in on the idea, publishing a full article about the alternate versions of The Demon King that could be "within" Balor, including some interesting artwork and even blurbs about the character gimmick concepts. It's surprisingly cool and flushed out.

Before we go any further, it must be noted that the writer of the WWE.com article used Cristiano Ronaldo as a comparison to Balor. Let's be honest, though, Balor's abs are way more impressive these days.

"Balor’s ability to go from Cristiano Ronaldo in tights to the antichrist incarnate is the kind of unexpected about-face that makes you stop and think: What else is this guy hiding," it says.

First up is The Devil's Advocate, which features Balor with a few noticeable... additions ... to his head and a sleek all-black suit. It's something that could be pulled off by Finn if the WWE ever wanted to run with it.

That's definitely a sharp look, but the next one takes Finn a drastically different direction than the demons and devils we're accustomed to. The War Angel is perhaps the most awe-inspiring idea, mostly because the artwork alone is pretty dang cool.

Next up is something a bit more tame, more in line with some of the "dark" personas we've seen in the WWE in the past. The Raven of Death, they call it, and if it comes with the savage ravens featured in the art it's lights out for the competition.

The next idea is a bit more based in reality, named The Underboss. It's not too far from Finn as he is, but channeling a "European crime lord." For whatever reason, they toss in that he has a "prized Doberman Pinscher" who helps him. Woof.

They wrap up the Finn Balor creative brainstorm with arguably their worst idea, The Cyber Demon. The description even hurts to read, calling him "more meme than man." The closing sentence on it is... well... we'll let you decide for yourself.

"It’ll be The Cyber Demon who gives himself over to the dark web and ends human existence forever. CTRL ALT DELETE."

DELETE. DELETE. DELETE. DELETE.
