At WrestleMania 33 earlier this month, Brock Lesnar became the fourth WWE Universal champion in history when he defeated Goldberg at The Showcase of the Immortals.Since then, he has only appeared on the Monday Night RAW following WrestleMania to challenge Roman Reigns to a match after he defeated The Undertaker at the event as well. We haven't seen The Beast on WWE TV since.Today, however, an announcement has been made revealing when and where Lesnar will defend the Universal title for the first time since being victorious at WrestleMania.

WWE originally had the Bad Blood pay-per-view planned for July 9 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. This was expected to be the original location of The Beast's first title defense, but plans have now changed.

The company has now changed the name and the location of the pay-per-view. The show will now be called Great Balls of Fire and it will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The announcement was made in a video on the arena's Twitter account.

In the video as well, it was revealed this would be the location where The Beast Incarnate would defend his Universal championship for the first time since defeating Goldberg for it at WrestleMania 33. His opponent, however, was not announced.

It will be interesting to see who Lesnar's opponent will be, with most rumors saying it could be Braun Strowman who enters a SummerSlam program with The Beast.

Yet, as we have seen with Jinder Mahal getting a WWE title shot on SmackDown Live, WWE could throw a curve ball and throw another superstar in the mix instead, saving The Monster Among Men for the end of the summer.

This could be the start of Lesnar's SummerSlam program with Strowman, with the feud culminating at WWE's second biggest pay-per-view event of the year. Expect The Beast to come out on top in this feud as they build towards him being taken down by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 next year.

As for the pay-per-view now being called Great Balls of Fire, it wouldn't be surprising if WWE incorporates some sort of fire match into the card, most likely involving their most intriguing and mysterious superstar on the RAW roster right now, Bray Wyatt.

Hopefully, they bring in The Rock to sing the song Great Balls of Fire like he did all those years ago too.
