The Hardy Boyz are back in full force in the WWE, making their long-awaited return at WrestleMania 33.

The WWE is reported to be preparing both Matt and Jeff for big things going forward, and the WWE RAW tag team champions are back at the top of the duos ladder. That's a place they're all too familiar with having been one of the most dominant tag teams in decades.

As the Hardyz hype train prepares to leave the station - especially as rumors that the "Broken" universe is on the way - the WWE decided to dig into their history and find six obscure facts about them. Most of them are legitimately surprising, with some amazing footage.

WrestleMania 4 was the moment Matt and Jeff fell in love with the WWE. The brothers made a bet on who would win the vacant title on The Grandest Stage of Them All, and Matt nailed that it would be "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

After realizing their love for professional wrestling, the next obvious thing for the Hardyz to do was ask for a trampoline for Christmas so they could "learn" to wrestle on their own. Their Christmas wish came true, and we suppose it's history from there.

The story gets better, though. The brothers created their own backyard wrestling promotion in North Carolina, with Matt calling himself High Voltage and Jeff, The Wolverine. The footage the WWE got a hold of is absolutely amazing.

Matt and Jeff have been lingering around the WWE for quite some time, well before their Hardy Boyz days. Matt's official debut was May 23, 1994 on RAW. Jeff debuted a month later in a match against Razor Ramon as "Keith Davis."

Jeff wrestled as a jobber later that year as "Jeff Harvey" which is certainly a bit closer to the Hardy Boy we know and love. Eventually they made tag team magic together, but would split for singles competition for a bit.

The Hardyz reunited in 2006, and with it came a new tag-team finishing move that you may have forgotten. They called it "The Rapture" and it was a pretty dang sweet move from the second rope. Definitely check it out in the WWE video.

No Hardy facts are complete without mentions of Ladders, and the duo is 4-2 all-time in ladder matches. Jeff is currently on a five-ladder-match winning streak that spans back to 2006. They've also won WWE tag titles together on eight occasions.

Now let's see the if the can make some new history to make these old facts seem OBSOLETE.
