Last Thursday’s Manchester derby produced a number of talking points despite being an overall disappointing affair.
With neither side able to break the deadlock, the most memorable moment of the match came in the 84th minute when Marouane Fellaini received a red card for headbutting Sergio Aguero.
The senseless act saw the Belgian whacked with a three-game ban, which will see him miss crucial Premier League fixtures against Swansea, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Already dealing with an alarming shortage of central midfielders, Jose Mourinho also lost one of his most versatile players in Timothy Fosu-Mensah at the Etihad.
The Dutch teenager came on for Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 86th minute only to suffer the unluckiest of injuries during his brief cameo in the dying moments of the clash.
Within a few minutes of entering the fray, Fosu-Mensah dislocated his shoulder in a challenge with Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany – a man who knows all about unfortunate setbacks.
With no malice involved in the incident whatsoever, the Belgium international saw fit to express his sympathies towards his United counterpart.
The gesture has come to light after Fosu-Mensah posted a picture on Instagram stories on Saturday, revealing Kompany sent him a City shirt with the message “have a speedy recovery Timothy” written on the back.
The Dutchman – who will miss the remainder of the season – has accepted Kompany's classy gesture and apology.
Injuries might be part and parcel of the game, but it is certainly nice to see two professionals make up following an unfortunate coming-together such as this one.
United are a point behind fourth-placed City and four ahead of Arsenal, making for a nail-biting finish in the race for Champions League qualification.
