It’s become a common occurrence in WWE now ever since he returned, and Matt Hardy has continued hinting towards his Broken gimmick eventually finding its way to Monday Night RAW.The biggest hint is on-screen, as Matt continues to show the Broken mannerisms on a weekly basis but we are yet to witness how he’s triggered into reverting to the gimmick he made famous during his time in TNA.

HINTS

Not only that, but Michael Cole did say things are about to be broken when they were introduced as the surprise fourth team in the RAW tag team championship match at WrestleMania.

It’s been well-documented that WWE is interested in purchasing the rights for it, and are reportedly working on a deal with Anthem so they can pay them one lump sum, rather than pay royalties over things like merchandise – which is what the latter initially wanted.

It’s unclear whether a deal has been agreed yet or not as has been speculated over the past week, but Matt’s wife Reby came out on Twitter to reveal the rumours are false.

Then again, Jeff told interviewers a WWE return isn’t on the cards – two days before the fans in Orlando erupted into cheers when their music hit.

IWNerd has now collated plenty of tweets from Matt which suggests WWE is perhaps confident of securing the rights for the gimmick, as they probably wouldn’t allow him to go overboard, just in case Anthem decided to chime in.

Judging by his tweets below, it seems like we’re getting closer and closer every week; here are just some of the latest teases.

The first is in reference to the dilapidated boat which was featured in a brilliant segment featuring Brother Nero – something they named Skarsgard.

The next is perhaps the most obvious hint that the gimmick is arriving in WWE, as he posted a clip alongside the caption: “The OBSOLETE Owl cannot evade my #BROKENBrilliance by flying away…DELETION is coming.”

Following his subtle dig at Impact Wrestling’s logo which featured an owl, he added: “The CELESTIAL VOICES have told me the GENESIS of my Modern Testament nears. My VESSEL will be blessed if I push it to unseen parameters.”

He then posted: “#BROKENBrilliance – ‘Don’t ever stop evaluating yourself. Everyone contains the capacity to improve. To become better.’”

It won’t end there either, as he continues to drop the hints on his Twitter account on a daily basis while continuing to change his name to show he’s suffering from an identity crisis.

Deletion is coming, and it’s about time fans got prepared for Matt’s broken brilliance to be part of WWE soon.
