The longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time reportedly have their next feud set.

The New Day have found themselves a new home on SmackDown Live after the WWE Superstar Shakeup, however, they have been out-of-action due to an injury suffered by teammate Kofi Kingston. As a result, both Xavier Woods and Big E have been held off from TV as well due to WWE officials wanting to keep the team as a complete unit when used.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The New Day are set to make their thunderous return against SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions The Usos. The feud between New Day and The Usos will be featured as the top Tag Team program on SmackDown, with American Alpha vs. The Colons as the second.

The New Day ran rampant through RAW's Tag Team division serving as the most dominant trio of all time with their championship accolades. After they lost their titles, however, their hype has come to a slow but steady halt.

No big time feuds had been set up for them during the latter half of their time on RAW and they were mostly used for comedic relief. Given the video packages that have been playing to hype The New Day's return to action on SmackDown, it seems as though WWE officials have big plans for the trio when they hit the squared circle again.

Before their time ran out on Monday Night RAW it seemed as though the debuting Ascension had The New Day's number, as they were being groomed to be the next champions of RAW's Tag Team division. Perhaps it was a good call to move The New Day over to a fresh crop of challengers before they lost some of their luster following their losing effort to the former NXT Tag Team Champs.

It should prove interesting to see how The New Day fares against fresh competition on Tuesday nights, and if they can mimic their historic title reign once again.

WWE TV just hasn't been the same without the tri-colored trio's interactive entrance, and the chants of 'Who?' reigning throughout WWE arenas. It's nice to know that upon their return, The New Day will be involved in a major Tag Team Title angle.

What are your thoughts on the WWE's plans to have The New Day feud with The Usos for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles?
