Tyson Fury has suffered from a host of personal problems since defeating Wladimir Klitschko back in November 2015 but wouldn’t it be great to see the 28-year-old back in the ring? The self-titled ‘Gypsy King’ is keen to organise a big-money fight against Anthony Joshua and sent the 27-year-old Brit a good luck message ahead of his victory over Klitschko at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. However, many things need to happen before this heavyweight clash can become a reality.First and foremost, he needs the British Boxing Board of Control to revoke his suspension.Fury remains suspended amid a UKAS investigation and is unable to return to the ring until the issue is resolved. His attempt at exploiting a loophole to obtain an Irish license with the Boxing Union of Ireland has been shut down.Second, Fury will need to get himself back in shape. The Wythenshawe-born fighter is almost unrecognisable from when he beat Klitschko and shifting the weight will take many hours of intense training.Does he still have the hunger, desire and dedication required to beat Joshua? In his mind, he does.

Fury was called out by Joshua

Immediately after Saturday’s fight, Joshua called out Fury via Sky Sports Box Office.

"And Tyson Fury baby, where are you man?” he said. “I want to give 90,000 people another chance to watch a night like this.”

Fury then issued the following response

Fury then responded to Joshua’s message with a rather complimentary tweet.

He wrote: “Wellldone @anthonyfjoshua good fight, you had life & death with @klitschko & I played with the guy, let's dance 💃“

Fury's tweet to Hearn about Joshua

However, a few hours later and Fury sent a less flattering tweet about Joshua to promoter Eddie Hearn.

He tweeted: “whenever you want that weightlifting punk spanked let me know. I'm not 41✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻 #1 “

Fury clearly believes he’s a better boxer than Joshua, who added the WBA world heavyweight title to his IBF crown at the weekend.

But at this moment in time, a future bout between the two British heavyweight feels a long way off.
