Anthony Joshua stunned the world on Saturday night by proving wrong the doubters who said he couldn't beat Wladimir Klitschko in the later rounds. A world class slug-fest ensued for 11 rounds with the British fighter coming out on top towards the end. Both fighters had their chances to finish each other off in the middle of the fight, with Joshua putting Klitschko on the canvas in the fifth round before the Ukrainian returned the favour in the sixth, but both found it within themselves to take it on to the 11th.They provided a set of new challenges for each other, and those who paid to attend or coughed up the fee to watch at home were certainly treated to their money's worth. And one thing is for sure – the hype surrounding Joshua is the real deal. In his 18 previous fights he hadn't faced anyone of Klitschko's calibre, even though he's spent over a year out of the business and had crept over the 40 mark, he proved that his age and inactivity hadn't diminished his ability. The victory saw Joshua become the heavyweight division's unified champion holding the WBA, IBF and IBO titles, and he's now the most wanted man in boxing. As it stands there are five possible fights that the 27-year-old can take on next, though he will no doubt take some time off to recover from his injuries and relax and reflect on his achievement. But who are these fighters? And which one would be the ideal match up for him?Joshua has already stated that he would like to fight in Germany, while the United States and Wales' Principality Stadium have both been mooted. He knows he wouldn't have a problem selling the fight, but he needs the right opponent.Klitschko could make himself Joshua's next opponent, as he has the option of a rematch written into his contract, but Eddie Hearn is giving the 41-year-old enough space to decide what he wants to do next.Surely, while a rematch would be a great spectacle, he knows he would have to readapt his approach drastically and even of he did win the belts, how long could he realistically hold on to them? Joshua has said that he would grant him his wish of a rematch, meaning the fight could take place as soon as October or November, but Klitschko has a lot to consider.Deontay Wilder has also expressed an interest in unifying the division. The 31-year-old is already the WBC heavyweight champ and got a close look at AJ from ringside on Saturday night. The American is undefeated but was recently given a rough ride by Eric Molina, so there's not much of a chance that he'd prove to be a real challenge for AJ, and he appears to have his hands full with Tony Bellew. The two seemed to agree to a fight live on air after the main event on Saturday, so we could have that to look forward to first.

Luis Ortiz is said to be the WBA mandatory challenger but doesn't seem keen on facing the Brit just yet, though there will likely come a time when he decides that he can't turn the money down.

If Joshua does opt for a mandatory fight, and Ortiz isn't keen, he could take on IBF contender Kubrat Pulev. The 35-year-old had rejected the chance to fight Joshua in the past, but now, of course, is keen to cash in before he gets too old.

Joseph Parker would prove an interesting choice, as he had a similar and remains one of the few fighters who could take Joshua all way in terms of rounds but the fight everyone wants is Tyson Fury.

Like Klitschko, Fury has been out of the game since 2015 with a drug ban and mental health issues keeping him on the sidelines.

The Manchester-born fighter is planning a comeback on the undercard of Billy Joe Saunders' fight in July, but he would have his work cut out for him to get back into shape to take on Joshua.

The pair have been snipping at each other on social media recently, and both have expressed a desire to go through with it. With titles and undefeated records on the line it would have the potential to be the biggest fight in UK history.

It could happen late this year or early next year, as Fury has proved that he doesn't need to be in a similar shape to Klitschko and Joshua to win these fights, and it'll likely be left to Eddie Hearn to negotiate over the summer as the calls for the fight will only get louder from the fans.
