Moxey set for Derby talks

Published Add your comment

Derby chairman Adam Pearson has revealed the club will hold talks with Dean Moxey on Monday to discuss the terms of his move to Pride Park.

Exeter have accepted an offer from the Rams believed to be in the region of £300,000, but personal terms and a medical must still be completed.

Pearson believes the deal will be sealed within the next week, he told the Express & Echo: "Dean is due to come up and talk to myself and the manager on Monday. I would say now within the next seven days we will be there or thereabouts (with his signing)."

He added: "Dean is going to be a really good player for us and is someone the manager and myself are delighted to be bringing to the club.

"He has got just the right attitude, is the right age and has the right potential and ability. He will give us real competition for Jay McEveley at left-back."
