The legal battle between Impact Wrestling and The Hardy family continues. After leaving Impact Wrestling back in February, the company decided to attempt to put a halt to Matt and Jeff using their famed 'Broken' gimmicks by slapping pay-per-view (PPV) providers of the Ring Of Honor 15th Anniversary show with a cease and desist letter warning them not to use the gimmick. While some mannerisms and terms were used, the gimmick was not referred to directly. Since then Hardy has been unable to please pro wrestling fans to the best of his ability while utilizing the 'Broken' character, but that could all change soon. The Hardys have since made their return to the WWE after shocking the pro wrestling world at WrestleMania 33 and winning the RAW Tag Team titles in a Fatal Four Way Ladder Match. They continue to reign as the top tag team on Monday Nights.Matt's wife, Reby Hardy, has been very vocal on Twitter as of late and blasted Impact Wrestling for their attempts to keep her husband's character outside of Impact.Word began to pick up that the WWE was actually attempting to purchase the gimmick's rights off of Impact Wrestling, but Reby took to Twitter to state that those rumors are not true and were most likely leaked by someone at Impact to paint themselves into a position of power. That may be true, as PWInsider is reporting that Impact Wrestling has furthered their claims on the gimmick by filing for trademarks of the terms “Brother Nero”, “Broken Matt” and “Broken Brilliance” on April 28th.In addition to that, Reby took to Twitter to note that Impact Wrestling is going after her directly, most likely for the things that she has been saying about them on Twitter as of late:

One of Reby's most famous acts against Impact has been creating a t-shirt dubbing the phrase "F**k That Owl' on it, playing off of Anthem Sports' logo.

Last night (Fri. May 5, 2017) a fan asked Reby if he could still purchase a shirt, but she responded by saying that they are no longer available. She did say, however, that after recent events that have transpired she may have to bring it back:
