It's not been a great season for Arsenal. Once again there's a very real danger of the club finishing the season empty-handed with Manchester City standing in their way of lifting the FA Cup.

At the start of the season the Gunners were tipped to finally follow through with their promise to challenge for the Premier League title, only to see it fall apart spectacularly.

With protests in the stands over Arsene Wenger's leadership ongoing, Arsenal will now finish the season behind Tottenham for the first time in 21 years, and they are facing the prospect of no Champions League football next term.

They have suffered a number of low points throughout the campaign, but the lowest came during last weekend's North London derby, where they lost 2-0 to Tottenham in the last tie between the two at White Hart Lane.

It has already been reported that playmaker Mesut Ozil kicked a door in frustration after the final whistle, but fellow midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who was also part of the match day squad, has since revealed what happened in the dressing room.

"There was a few things said after the game," Ramsey told Football Focus, via the Metro.

"Ultimately we went into the game full of confidence, we had a few good results but it wasn’t to be on the day.

"And everybody had their own way of showing that."

Arsenal welcome Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in a clash that could go a long way to resolving who gets the last Champions League spot.

Luckily for the Gunner,s United have a number of injuries to key players that will only serve to aide Arsene Wenger's cause, not to mention the second leg of the Europa League semi-final against Celta Vigo coming this week, that will no doubt keep Jose Mourinho's mind occupied.

Arsenal desperately need some form of success before the season is over, though, as the year has teetered from one disaster to another.
