Charlie Adam is set for a permanent move to Blackpool after Rangers confirmed they have accepted a bid of £500,000.
The midfielder, 23, impressed while on loan at the Coca-Cola Championship club during the second half of last season.
The Seasiders made no secret of their desire to make the move a long-term one and the switch now looks likely after a fee was thrashed out between the two clubs.
Adam is expected to sign a deal on Tuesday once personal terms have been agreed.
He had three years left on his contract at Rangers but had found himself on the fringes of Walter Smith's plans and will see the move to English football as an opportunity to resurrect a once promising career.
