Fulham ease to win

Goals from Andy and Eddie Johnson and a third from Erik Nevland guided Fulham to a 3-0 victory over Melbourne Victory at the Etihad Stadium.

England striker Andy Johnson put the Cottagers ahead just after the half-hour when he converted a penalty awarded after he was knocked to the floor by Melbourne keeper Mitchell Langerak.

Substitute Eddie Johnson then doubled the lead shortly after the hour when he raced on to an Andranik ball and he fired into the back of the net. Nevland then rounded off a comprehensive victory when Seol Ki-Hyeon flicked the ball into the path of Nevland with the outside of his boot and the Norwegian slotted home.
