West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that striker Ishmael Miller has suffered a setback in his comeback from knee injury.

The 22-year-old has been out since picking up the injury at Wigan last November and will now miss the club's pre-season tour of Slovenia.

Di Matteo said: "Ishmael has a problem with the knee he previously had operated on. There's been some complications and he will probably be out for a little while."

He added: "It's difficult to say how long he will be sidelined at the moment but we'll know more next week.

"He suffered the setback during training last week. We will see what the assessment is and take it from there."
