Bristol City left-back Andre Blackman is set to be given the all-clear to resume full training after undergoing ankle surgery at the end of last season.

The 18-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Ashton Gate club since signing from Portsmouth last month.

The Robins' assistant manager Keith Millen told "Andre is coming along nicely and we're hoping to be told he has been given the all-clear."

He added: "His recovery from the operation has gone as planned and he's been able to do some running and non-contact football training."
