Swansea have confirmed they have agreed a fee with Ipswich for striker Pablo Counago.

Town manager Roy Keane confirmed on Thursday that he had accepted a bid for one of his forwards and Swans chairman Huw Jenkins has now revealed that boss Paulo Sousa hopes to sign the Spaniard.

Jenkins said: "We have agreed a fee with Ipswich, but nothing has been agreed with the player. Paulo has made no secret of the fact that he wants another striker to add competition up front. He believes Pablo fits that bill perfectly."
