West Brom have continued their summer clearout with the sale of Do-Heon Kim to K-League club Suwon Bluewings for £360,000.
Having been granted international clearance, the midfielder returns to Korea Republic a year-and-a-half after arriving at The Hawthorns and his sale comes hot on the heels of Sherjill MacDonald`s £650,000 move to Belgian side Germinal Beerschot.
Kim, 27, signed a loan deal from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma for the second half of Albion`s Championship-winning campaign in 2007/08, grabbing his first goal for the club in dramatic style on the final day at QPR to help secure the title, although his opportunities were limited.
Then manager Tony Mowbray splashed out £500,000 to bring him to The Hawthorns on a permanent basis last summer but he again found first-team chances hard to come by last term as Albion suffered relegation from the Premier League.
But his return to Suwon, a side he played with for four years before his switch to Seongnam, should boost his preparations ahead of next year`s World Cup in South Africa.
