Tamas Priskin`s agent has added further confusion to reports linking the striker with a move to Ipswich by claiming Roy Keane has made a bid for his services.
Media reports emerged over the weekend suggesting the former Manchester United captain had tabled a bid of around £1million for the Hungarian, something Hornets boss Malky Mackay and Keane himself later dismissed, although the Town manager is believed to have been at Vicarage Road to watch Saturday`s 3-2 friendly win over Parma.
But Priskin`s agent Joseph Vörösbaranyi has now revealed Ipswich have made a bid for the 22-year-old, telling Hungarian newspaper Nemzeti Sport: "I cannot reveal the price but I may confirm Ipswich have made a very serious offer for Watford's Tamas Priskin."
He added: "We wait for the club's answer now but I believe an agreement will be made between the two clubs."
Meanwhile, Watford have taken Scottish left-sided midfielder Jim McAlister on trial from Greenock Morton.
