Norris news not good for Town

Ipswich midfielder David Norris has been ruled out for four months with cruciate ligament damage.

The 28-year-old limped off during the second half of Sunday's defeat at Coventry and has seen a specialist this week.

Boss Roy Keane confirmed the news and added he may now have to reconsider his options in the transfer market.

He told the club`s official website: "It's a big loss for us and it's a big blow for the lad himself.

"He's been outstanding for us since he's been here, he's got great energy and is probably the fittest player at the club.

"I said last week that we are unlikely to bring in anyone else but with David out now, we might have to rethink that."
