Drinkwater thirsty for success

Danny Drinkwater is hopeful of helping Huddersfield to promotion after joining from Manchester United.

The 19-year-old linked up with the Terriers on Friday on a season-long loan and immediately played his part in Saturday's 3-1 win over Southampton.

"The manager says he wants me to give my all, which I'm quite happy to do," he told the Huddersfield Examiner. "There is a fair bit of competition for a place here which is good. I'm looking forward to the challenge and I want to help win promotion."
