Royals hit with FA charge

Published Add your comment

Reading have been charged with failing to control their players after an incident in the goalless draw at Swansea last week.

Winger Hal Robson-Kanu fouled Swansea counterpart Nathan Dyer, and the ball was then kicked at Robson-Kanu's head as he lay on the floor.

That triggered a coming together of a number of players from both sides and the Football Association has charged the Royals.

The club has until September 8 to respond to the charge.
