Burnley boss Owen Coyle is still on the hunt for new blood before the transfer window closes next week.
The Clarets have made a impressive start to life in the Premier League, recording successive home wins over Manchester United and Everton to confound the critics who felt they would go straight back down with barely a whimper.
But Coyle is not resting on his laurels. And, if chairman Barry Kirby can squeeze a bit more from the smallest budget in the Premier League, he can find a use for it. "If it is there I will spend it," said Coyle.
"My aim is to take the club on. If there are players I think will improve the squad I will look to bring them in.
"If it is someone on a loan I will look to do that as well."
