Someone destined for a hiding - Trotman

Southampton defender Neal Trotman insists his side will break their win duck sooner rather than later and vowed `someone`s in for a hiding`.

Saints were frustrated by Trotman`s former club Colchester, who battled to a goalless draw despite playing with 10 men for almost an hour on Saturday. Alan Pardew`s side are still without a win this term and remain rooted to the bottom due to their 10-point deduction.

"Maybe it wasn`t meant to be, but I think we are due to give a team a hiding soon as long as we remain focused on what we are doing," he said. "Let`s not forget we are only in September, we`ve got 40 games left but obviously we`re taking it one game at a time and we`ve got to look to kick on at Charlton next week."
