Klasnic backed to shine

Bolton assistant manager Chris Evans believes Ivan Klasnic could hurt England in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier.

Croatia striker Klasnic arrived at the Reebok Stadium last week on loan having scored four goals in his first five games of the season for Nantes.

"Ivan is in a rich vein of form in front of goal and should be involved against England at some stage," Evans told the Bolton News.

"He has a great scoring record at the very highest level and that's why we worked so hard to bring him over."

Klasnic is likely to make his debut for Bolton against Portsmouth this weekend.
