Bristol Rovers striker Andy Williams is determined to convince first-team coach Paul Trollope to take him off the transfer list.

Williams has struggled to make an impact since joining the Pirates just over two years ago and was sent out on loan to Hereford last season. The 23-year-old has appeared as a substitute four times this season and hopes he can finally kickstart his Rovers career.

"Last season didn`t work out exactly how I would have planned. I never wanted to go out on loan but I was told to go and get some games and confidence." Williams said.

"It didn't quite work out that way and I was disappointed to be put on the transfer list when I came back. I have worked hard over the summer to try and get myself back into the manager's plans.

"I`m just going to keep working away to do whatever I can to get myself off the list. The manager has given me a fair crack at things and treated me the same as all the other boys. I hope I`m showing him that I`m responding positively to that at the moment."
